Volunteering at the Lake City Playhouse
Plain and simple, we wouldn't be able to do it all without our volunteers.
Just about everywhere you look at the Lake City Playhouse, you'll find
volunteers: actors, singers and dancers, technicians and carpenters, costume
sewers, ushers, tour guides, and stage crew. With eight productions in the
coming season, we have plenty of room for all types of volunteers!
Please register to become a volunteer at the Lake City Playhouse. We have a
place for everyone, no matter what talents you may (or may not) have. You can
become a part of making the theatre experience come alive for more than 50,000
of our North Idaho neighbors every year!
Here are some ways you can volunteer:
- Front of House: help with box office, usher,
refreshment management
- Backstage & Crew: Design & construct sets, set
painting, obtain & manage props, stage manage, design & operate lighting,
design & operate sound.
- Costume & make-up: Design and construct costumes, help
with dressing. Design & apply make-up, wigs, and hairstyles.
- Office: answer phones at peak show times, data entry,
grant writing, newsletter writing, publicity team, fundraising

programs, advertisements, and signs.
